Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Latin America trade lane, including market trends and customer requirements.
- Experience in Air & Ocean Freight sales, pricing, and trade lane development.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage key customer accounts.
- Strong network with overseas agents, carriers, and logistics partners in the Latin America region.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Latin America trade lane, including market trends, customer requirements, and trade dynamics.
- Identify, develop, and manage new customer accounts within the assigned trade lane.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, emerging industries, and trade developments.
- Prepare and present competitive freight quotations for Air and Ocean Freight.
- Negotiate freight rates, commercial terms, and service agreements with customers and overseas partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and strategic partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand business across new countries and market segments within the Latin America region
- Drive trade lane growth by increasing inbound and outbound shipment volumes.
- Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
