Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers for shipment status, queries, and
    service updates.
  • Coordinate with clients to collect shipping instructions, documentation inputs, and cargo
    readiness details.
  • Provide timely updates on booking confirmations, vessel schedules, shipment
    milestones, and delays.
  • Handle escalations professionally and ensure quick resolution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to enhance service satisfaction.

Documentation

  • Prepare and verify all export-related documents including MBL/HBL, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and SI & BL Instructions.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy as per customer, shipping line, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines for Draft BL approval, corrections, and final BL release.
  • Arrange necessary certificates from Chambers, Authorities, and other bodies.
  • Maintain proper filing and digital records of all shipment documents.

Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal operations, pricing, transporters, CFS, and shipping lines for smooth cargo handling.
  • Follow up on bookings, container placements, cut-off deadlines, and cargo movements.
  • Monitor shipment progress and update customers proactively.
  • Support export operations team with exceptions, amendments, and urgent documentation tasks.
