Required Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
- Hands-on experience in DG air export booking and documentation.
- Ability to verify DG shipment documents and identify discrepancies.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong follow-up, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with airlines and internal operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with airlines for DG approvals, space allocation, and booking confirmations.
- Handle booking and documentation of Dangerous Goods air export shipments in compliance with IATA DGR.
- Verify MSDS, DGD, battery declarations, and other shipment-related documents.
- Communicate freight rates, DG surcharges, fees, and shipment conditions to customers and internal teams.
- Track shipments from booking to uplift and final destination.
- Handle shipment rejections, irregularities, and re-bookings with appropriate corrective action.
- Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customs teams to ensure smooth shipment movement.
- Maintain accurate records of DG approvals, DGD copies, and audit documentation.
