Skills & Requirements
- Hands-on experience in handling Dangerous Goods (DG) air shipments.
- Strong knowledge of IATA DGR, DG documentation, and airline acceptance procedures.
- Ability to verify MSDS, DGD, battery declarations, and shipment documents.
- Good coordination and communication skills with airlines and internal teams.
- Proficient in MS Office and email communication.
- Ability to track shipments and resolve documentation or acceptance issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with airlines for DG approval, space allocation, and booking confirmation.
- Communicate rates, surcharges, DG fees, and shipment conditions internally.
- Handle booking, tracking shipments from confirmation to uplift and final destination.
- Manage irregularities, rejections, and re-bookings with corrective actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customs teams for smooth DG cargo movement.
- Maintain proper records of DG approvals, DGD copies, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IATA DGR and airline-specific DG requirements.
