Key Responsibilities:
– Purpose of the Trade Lane Manager is to primarily sell, develop & retain business on the assigned trade lane for all products and hold overall responsibility to drive customer development through sales at origin & destination.
– Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Middle East and North Africa trade lane, including market trends & customer requirements,
– Identify and develop new customer accounts within the trade lane.
– Conduct market research to understand industry trends and potential opportunities.
– Prepare and present competitive quotes to potential clients.
– Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with customers.
– Build strong relationships with key customers in the trade lane.
– Identify opportunities to expand into new market segments within the trade lane.
