Key Responsibilities
- Manage sea freight pricing and rate negotiations with shipping lines
- Oversee end-to-end sea freight operations (FCL/LCL, reefer, and special cargo)
- Handle carrier contracts and service-level agreements
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Support business development and inside sales with competitive pricing
- Coordinate with worldwide network partners
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian ports and global trade lanes
- Expertise in shipping compliance, documentation, and operational workflows
- Strong knowledge of sea freight pricing and carrier negotiations
- Ability to support pricing for Mundra, Chennai, and Hyderabad
- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to achieve KPIs and KRAs
