Job Description

Galaxy Freight is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Executive for Air Pricing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the present market dynamics, established rapport with airlines, and a deep understanding of air routes and pricing strategies. This role will be instrumental in shaping our air export pricing strategies, maximizing profitability, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct an in-depth analysis of the air export market, including trends, demand fluctuations, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging opportunities to inform pricing strategies and decision-making.
  • Airline Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, negotiating competitive rates, terms, and agreements for air export shipments. Leverage existing connections and establish new partnerships to optimize pricing and enhance service offerings.
  • Route Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to identify optimal air routes for export shipments based on cost-effectiveness, transit time, and customer requirements. Analyze route performance and make recommendations for route optimization to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies for air export shipments, taking into account market conditions, competitive positioning, and customer preferences. Ensure pricing structures are aligned with business objectives and contribute to revenue growth and profitability.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Oversee the documentation process for air export shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with the operations team to streamline documentation procedures and minimize errors or delays.
